Jania Palacios, a partner with Arévalo Sánchez, brings ten years of experience in Public Relations with a specialization in Latino market outreach and social marketing.
Throughout her career, Palacios has been dedicated to working to benefit the Latino community and has done so successfully through a variety of local grassroots efforts, statewide education programs, and national campaigns.
Originally from Mexico City, Palacios was raised in the culturally rich city of Tucson, Arizona. Her deep understanding of the Latino culture and bicultural experience has allowed her to easily transition between the Latino and general market, providing clients with a unique and invaluable perspective.
Palacios has played a key role in the development, implementation and execution of communications strategies for a variety of clients including non-profit organizations, private sector businesses, Fortune 500 companies and elected officials.
Prior to joining Arévalo Sánchez in 2006, Palacios was an account executive at The Rogers Group in Los Angeles. During her three-year tenure, she served as a member of the First 5 California (previously the California Children and Families Commission) team, playing a critical role in managing a statewide Univision television partnership, as well as establishing First 5 California as a leader in early childhood development among the Latino population.
Palacios serves on the communications advisory committee for Aviva Family and Children’s Service. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations, with a minor in business administration from Northern Arizona University.
